WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Senators Jim Risch (R-Idaho) and Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.), chairman and ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, will depart for Germany to attend the 2025 Munich Security Conference. Risch and Shaheen will join national security leaders from around the world to discuss strategic cooperation on common global security goals.
“I am pleased to attend the Munich Security Conference at a pivotal time in the world. Every year, this conference serves as an important reminder that when we work together with our partners and allies, we get results. I look forward to discussing global challenges and finding common ground with a wide array of foreign leaders, and I’m particularly pleased to do so with Senator Risch by my side,” said Senator Shaheen.
The 61st Munich Security Conference will take place from February 14 to 16, 2025, at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich. Additional information on the 2025 Munich Security Conference can be found here.
