Risch, Shaheen Attend Munich Security Conference

WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Senators Jim Risch (R-Idaho) and Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.), chairman and ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, will depart for Germany to attend the 2025 Munich Security Conference. Risch and Shaheen will join national security leaders from around the world to discuss strategic cooperation on common global security goals.

“Between rising aggression from China, turbulence in the Middle East, and Putin’s ongoing war against Ukraine, the world faces many security crises. I look forward to attending the Munich Security Conference with Senator Shaheen to discuss how the Senate Foreign Relations Committee can work with our allies to better protect American interests and global security,” said Senator Risch.
