Risch Meets with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Jim Risch (R-Idaho), ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, today met with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in the U.S. Capitol.

“It was a pleasure to welcome Mr. Secretary General Stoltenberg to the Senate today ahead of the 75^th anniversary of NATO. With so many grave security threats facing our alliance today, from Russia to China, to Iran and others, we were able to have a robust conversation about how we can work together to fulfill our collective defense commitments. I look forward to seeing Mr. Secretary General again in a few weeks at the upcoming summit.”
