NASHVILLE, Tenn. – U.S. Senator Bob Corker (R-Tenn.), chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, today released the following statement after President Donald Trump issued an executive order that authorizes additional U.S. sanctions on revenue streams that support North Korea’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs.
“I support and appreciate President Trump’s strong action today against North Korea and his efforts to work closely with the leaders of South Korea and Japan to address this growing threat,” said Corker. “We will continue to work with the administration in its efforts to further isolate the Kim regime while strengthening missile defenses and empowering our allies and partners in the region.”
