Washington, D.C. — U.S. Sen. Jim Risch (R-ID), chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, made the following statement after a committee briefing from the administration on the status of the Global Magnitsky investigation related to the murder of Jamal Khashoggi:
“The Senate Foreign Relations Committee held a briefing with administration officials tonight to receive additional information on the investigation of the murder of Jamal Khashoggi. In addition, written materials from the State Department are being reviewed. As the investigation continues and we learn more, we will keep all apprised. This is a work in progress, and we will not let it go.”
