WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Senator Ben Cardin (D-Md.), Chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, issued the following statement after Israeli forces rescued two hostages taken by Hamas terrorists:
“I am grateful to see the rescue of two Israeli-Argentine hostages in Rafah and their safe return to their families. I continue to support ongoing diplomatic efforts to immediately secure an extended pause that leads to the release of all remaining hostages, including the Americans taken by Hamas. After more than 128 days of captivity, their families deserve a deal that brings their loved ones home."
