•  A Menendez amendment regarding the promotion of the participation of minorities and women
  in the Foreign Service was agreed to by voice vote
Amendment:
•  A Kaufman amendment to express the sense of the Congress that the Broadcasting Board
  of Governors should expand international broadcasting in Iran was agreed to by voice vote.
Amendment:
•  A Casey amendment to a Wicker amendment regarding policy with respect to abortion was agreed
   to by a roll call vote of 12 to 4.
Amendment:
•  A Wicker amendment as amended by a Casey amendment (above) passed by a voice vote.
Amendment:
•  A Feingold/Gillibrand amendment regarding discrimination related sexual orientation was
   agreed to by a roll call vote of 12 to 7.
Amendment:
•  A Webb amendment regarding funding for the Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs
   was not agreed to by a roll call vote of 5 to 14.
Amendment:
•  A Kerry amendment regarding amounts for authorization was agreed to by voice vote.
Amendment:
•  Four Kerry/Lugar technical amendments were agreed to by a voice vote.
Amendment:
•  S. 2971 with an amendment in the nature of a substitute with the amendments noted above
    was ordered reported by a voice vote.
